About
Fire Prowrestling 6MEN SCRAMBLE is a 2.5D wrestling fighter for the Sega Saturn. Its a japanese game so you need either a modified saturn or an adaptor to play it. Its totally taken all my free time as of late. Its the only saturn game I play now. Must play 6 man scramble . . . .
I have created a wrestler that I use almost exclusively. He looks like more or less like me. He does the moves I would do if I were a professional wrestler. Me a pro wrestler, ha! My parameters are all screwy. I need to decide on a style and have my parameters and skills and moves reflect that chosen style. Even if I can't come up with pictures of it, I'll at least do a page on how to create him after I get his shit together a little better.
I've created an Alex Wright since then, and now I only use him.

Wrestler Edit Tricks
In wrestler edit mode do the following: Press & holdB on wrestlers body, then press Left or Right on the pad to cycle through the many heads. Press and hold Z on the color pallet, then press Up or Down to cycle through the colors.
Change Ref's Colors (I haven't tried this one)
To change the refs colors, before a match at the Vs screen, press and hold any button for a different color.
Stay Down Trick
If your wrestler is knocked down, hold any 3 buttons down to keep him down on the floor for as long as you want.
Beat The Computer (I think this is lame and no fun, but Weihan's right, this works)
Having trouble getting the grapple timing down? Here's a semi-cheesy way to consistently beat the computer without winning grapples. I developed this method to minimize the time it took to reach 5 title status. When I just started playing FPS6MS, I used Bret Hart and was doing ok until I hit the wall they call Vader. I couldn't do anything to him and after asking on the RVG board, people said, throw him into the ropes and follow him w/ a clothesline. Well, I did that for awhile but I couldn't throw him every time. So I decided to just run at Vader and lariat him. Lo and behold the pig fell down and I kept applying sharpshooter after sharpshooter. Then I noticed that if I stepped outside of the ring Vader would go to the center of the ring and stay there. Hmmm, on the apron, I centered myself with my foe and then quickly I stepped in, dashed at Vader, Lariat and BOOM! Down goes Vader, I start stomping, elbow, sharpshooter, whatever. And eventually I can get the submission.
Now, this method is not total cheese because you will have to work a little until the CPU guy is 100% susceptible to the running lariat. Some guys probably have great lariat defense or are just plain good (ie Inoki). The other reason why it is still difficult to win at a 100% clip are the Independent World and Gruesome Fighters. Here more strategy is necessary. You cannot step out of the ring for a breather, so you have to minimize your dashes because they burn up energy. If you can't regain your energy in time, you can get ko'd pretty quick in the UFC if you're constantly bent over sucking wind, and in Independent World, when you run and if the guy ducks, you JUICE!. Overall, using traditional strategies, I feel that Andre the Giant is the toughest Victory Road opponent. However, with this method, he is cake. I found that the toughest guys to beat are Rickson Gracie (I am a career 2-27 against him!!), Atsushi Onita and the Legend Terry Funk. I swear, Gracie almost drove me to carpal tunnel syndrome!
To further expedite my victory road, I scrapped the idea of using the Hitman and made myself as a fictional character. I wanted to optimize myself for criticals so I was a grappler and set my critical to submission. Also, the first move I enlisted was the lariat. And I used the Gracie guillotine choke as my finisher. To speed things up I used the (face up B/C) Sickle move to juice my opponent (I'm not sure if this actually speeds up a match or not). For average characters upon whom you don't get criticals, they shouldn't last more than 5 minutes
